Registration Students at New Student Registration.

New Student Registration Preview

Your preview is a personalized administrative check-list to help you complete your matriculation to Cornell. It will be available in mid-July. This does not include every task but does include many of the requirements you can fulfill before you arrive. The more items you take care of now, the less time you'll need to spend at New Student Registration and the more relaxed your first day will be. You are still required to attend New Student Registration on Friday, August 22, 8am-5pm in Bartels Hall to pick up your registration folder, Cornell Student ID card, and other items.

New Student Registration Preview is no longer available for Fall 2008. Go to your New Student Registration/check-in event to pick up your registration folder, Cornell Student ID Card, and for tying up administrative loose-ends that may hold up your enrollment.

New Student Registration

What is New Student Registration?
New Student Registration is your "one-stop-shop" for tying up administrative loose-ends that may hold up your enrollment. You will receive a folder containing vital administrative materials and your Cornell Student ID Card. Departments from across the university will be present.

When/Where?
All new undergraduates must check in at New Student Registration for Undergraduates on Friday August 22nd between 8am - 5pm in Bartels Hall.

Will I be enrolling in my classes?
Course enrollment is not done at New Student Registration. Course enrollment is handled through your college. You will receive more information about course enrollment during your college information sessions. For schedules, please refer to the Orientation Guide.

Can my family come into Registration with me?
New Student Registration is for students only! Family members are encouraged to attend the Campus Services Event in nearby Barton Hall or other events at this time. Students will be directed to the Campus Services Event after completing registration. Chances are that you will only be at registration for 15 minutes.

What if I arrive late?
Please make every effort to attend registration on Friday. However, if you arrive after 5:00pm, go to your residence hall's service center to pick up your keys and registration packet. Instructions on your packet will tell if you need to come to Bartels Hall on Monday, August 25, to complete registration.
