The information, forms and to-do's on this site are for all new students. There may be additional things your college needs you to do. Many of the college sites below are updated through the summer, so please check them often. Your college or school may also contact you via email or postal mail.

College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) — Got questions? Of course you do, so we've made it easy to get answers. Simply log in to “Chatter,” our CALS online community for staff and students. There you'll find answers and insider info on everything from course enrollment to where to treat your parents to dinner (or vice versa). So relax, check out Chatter… and welcome to CALS.

College of Architecture, Art, and Planning (AAP) — Welcome to the extraordinary AAP community of designers, architects, and scholars! During the summer, the AAP Office of Admissions and Academic Services will be your primary point of contact for details specific to AAP. This office provides information, support, and programming to encourage student success from matriculation through graduation. Our staff is committed to fostering an environment that values creativity, critical thinking, and respect of diverse perspectives. As a new member of the AAP community, please review the information on the AAP new student web page. We will email you in mid-June with important information about course enrollment and academic requirements.

Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management — Our faculty and staff are looking forward to your arrival on campus in August. School of Hotel Administration (SHA) — Welcome to our newest Hotelies! Our faculty and staff are excited to work with you throughout your undergraduate career and are currently preparing for your arrival. You will be pre-enrolled in first-year core courses. An Office of Student Services advisor will email you prior to pre-enrollment, to answer any questions you have about course scheduling and what to do prior to campus arrival. Please read emails in their entirety! Please review the following websites carefully. Additional questions and concerns will be addressed during Orientation.

College of Engineering (ENG) — Beginning in mid-May, and throughout the summer, the First-Year Planning website (below) will be updated several times with important information and deadlines.  Additionally, we will send informational emails to your Cornell email address several times throughout the summer. It is critical that you check the website and your Cornell email bi-weekly beginning in mid-May.

College of Human Ecology (CHE) — Please visit the site below to verify your major between June 1-16.  Our site includes very specific advice for creating your first Cornell course schedule–read through the site before pre-enrollment begins.  Each department in the college has provided detailed scheduling information, so please expect to base your selections on that information.  You will finalize your choices during Orientation after participating in the college briefing and department advising meetings.
